Your New Normal: What To Do When There is Nothing You Can Do!

new normal .001I recently preached a series at 7 Oaks we called “Your New Normal.”  The series was taken primarily from a series of lessons originally done by Andy Stanley called “In the Meantime.”  My friend, Wes Hazel shared these lessons with me and his version of them as well.

This series was well-received at 7 Oaks.  It made an impact on my life and helped me in my understanding of dealing with difficult situations.  I would encourage you to listen to them through this site.

These are their titles and brief description.

Your New Normal – (1-31-16)  This lesson examines our new normal situations and teaches that God is not necessarily absent, apathetic, or angry because of them.

Your New Normal: Purpose and Promise (2-7-16) This lesson studies 2 Cor. 12 and Paul’s thorn in the flesh noticing God’s purpose and promise found in it.

Your New Normal: God’s Strength (2-21-16) This lesson examines Philippians 4 seeking to find out Paul’s secret to contentment and strength despite his imprisonment.

Your New Normal:  Sharers of Comfort (2-28-16) This lesson studies 2 Corinthians 1 observing that we can use our new normal experiences to comfort others in their sufferings.
