Ways to Grow your Faith from My Men’s Class

This is the list we made; I know my hand writing is not the best!

This is the list we made; I know my hand writing is not the best!

I gave my men’s class of about 25 men the assignment of recommending something they did in 2014 to build their faith for other men in 2015.  I gave some input to the list, but vast majority of these came from them.  I hope you will consider what you are going to do in 2015 to build your faith!

  1. Share your talents in service to Christ.
  2. Help the needy.
  3. Teach a class.
  4. Pray and submit more to Christ.
  5. Read the book “Killing Jesus” by Bill O’Reilly.
  6. Taught the Truth for Today book “The Path to the Cross”
  7. Received encouragement from others and gave it to others.
  8. A Bible Reading plan from the You Version Holy Bible App.
  9. Kept a prayer list on their phone.
  10. Gave monthly money to a specific cause separate from the church.
  11. Use their lunch break for study time.
  12. The book “Legacy Journey” by Dave Ramsey
  13. Visit shut-ins and sick.
  14. Subscribe to Gospel Advocate, Think, Truth for Today, Magnolia Messenger, Christian Chronicle.
  15. Use “Power for Today” daily devotional guide.
  16. Read blogs. (I added this one.)
  17. Listen to Christian based podcasts. (mine too!)

What items would you add to the list of things you would recommend to others to grow their faith in 2015?
