New Resources and free FHU Lectures

I wanted to let you know that I added two new resources to the website both in PDF formats.

I added a sermon outline booklet to the Sermons page.  It is entitled “Holy People” a sermon series on 1 Peter.  I preached these lessons back in November and December of 2012.  It contains 11 one-page sermon outlines from 1 Peter.  I hope others can find it helpful. You can get it here on the sermons page.

Possibly my favorite class to teach is the Wednesday night men’s class.  The men in there have lots of wisdom and the discussion is always lively and beneficial.  I like to lead discussion-based classes wherein the class discovers gems of truth and application together.  We have spent the last 14 weeks studying the theme, “A Christian Man.”  (Really only 13 lessons plus a review.)  I know it was an incredibly unique title (haha)!!  I produced a one-page discussion guide each week with the verses and questions.  It worked well for us and I think it would work well for other men’s classes.  It is available here on the Books page.

Thousands know what a rich blessing the FHU Lectureship is each year.  Many know that they make CDs and DVDs from the lectures and stream it online during the lectureship.  What many do not know is that you can get all of the main stage (Loyd) lectures FREE through iTunes after lectureship has ended.  In fact the last several years are available on iTunes (They are specifically under iTunes University – Freed-Hardeman on the iTunes store) There are many great lessons available.  I spoke this year and my lesson was at 12:45 on Monday and is available in audio or video. My topic was a subject of this post from a few weeks back.  Here is the link for the 2013 audio, you can see the video and other years available as well.
